Ammo Weapon Systems

Ammo Weapon Systems fire ballistic shells at the target. These shells are typicaly either kentic or explosive warheads. Kentic shells have greater shield penitrating ability while explosive are harder hitting.

Fighter Missile Weapon Systems

Fighter missiles have relatively low top speeds and rely on the launching ship’s forward velocity to give them a boost. They also have fairly poor manoeuvrability relative to fighters and much be launched from a low angle of attack to be effective. Like most explosives they are only moderately effective against shields.

Fighter - SRM

Short Range Missiles (SRM) are slow and manoeuvreable missiles.

Fighter - MRM

Medium Range Missiles (MRM) have moderate speed and manoeuvrebility.

Fighter - LRM

Long Range Missiles (LRM) are fast but lack manoeuvrbility.


Defensive Missile Weapon Systems

Defensive missiles are light starship missiles designed to track fighters and incoming missiles. Defensive missiles often have a little more shield penetrating ability than other missiels, but they are still not highly effective against shields.

Defensive - Missile Intercept

Missile Intercepts are small fast missiles disgned to intercept and destory incoming missiles.

Defensive - Fighter Intercept

Fight Intercepts are fast missiles disgned to destroy approching fighter before they can get close enough to do damge.

Defensive - Seeker

Seeker Missiles are light, hihgly manoeuvrable missiles designed to track fighters at close range.


Starship Missile Weapon Systems

Starship missiles feature low velocities, high explosive radii, and fairly wide seeking connes. Like all explosive they are moderatly effective against shields.

Starship - MRM

Starship Medium Range Missiles (MRM) are standard high damage missiles with good tracking.

Starship - LRM

Starship Long Range Missiles (LRM) or Lance Missiles are high velocity long range missiles.

Starship - ERM

Starship Extended Range Missiles (ERM) or Standoff Missiles are low velocity long range missiles.
